Ok, so I know I haven't been keeping everyone too informed about my current love life... I do apoligize. I have sooo much to blog about and so little time to do it. I think I am going to start with the engagement night and then go backwards from there, if that's ok with ya'll...

Like a good friend once wrote, "love, not time, heals all wounds." So true. I know what you are thinking, this happened so fast! But hey, when you know it's right, you just know! It's that simple. When you find the answer you've been prayfully searching for, don't ever let it go! I can't help but feel so very blessed and oh, so happy!! Chris is truly my best friend. There are so many reason's why I want to keep him forever. I'm sure more details of our love story will slowly unfold as i blog over time... so have patience my friends! Loves xo.

The Engagement: {a night to remember}
June 5

The night started off at the Tracy Lawrence concert with some friends. It was an awesome concert and tons of fun! Ye~haw!!! Song highlights: "You find out who your friends are," and "Paint me a birmingham." Other highlights: smiles & huggles from my man!!! Huggle = hug + snuggle... just in case you were wondering *wink*

Let me back up a little and tell you that we had been planning on going ring shopping in the near future. Little did I know that this was just to throw me off so that I would be surprised that night! And boy, was I surprised! Ok, back to the story...

We left the concert a bit early so that we could go watch the fireworks from a far. We drove up the foothills, parked the truck, and climbed up a water tower (don't tell) hehe. We had a beautiful view of the valley, and we watched the fireworks up there together. Awww!!!

Then, he asked me to dance. (He was all prepared with the music. ain't he slick)! So we danced, out there on that water tower! We talked, laughed, smooched, and danced the night away! He is so romantic!!! He said some amazing things to me that I won't ever forget. As our song was playing...... he got down on one knee..... pulled a little box out of his cowboy boot (how cute is that)... that's when the tears started wellin' up!! Then he popped the question, and of course I said YES!!!! Oh, and he would just die if I told you this, but there was a tear or two in his eye too! :') Awww!! I love you forever Babe!!!
