There are so many things about him that i love and adore, but one thing about him that has impressed me lately is his faith, ...his focus. He has an incredible attitude, he can see beyond rough time's and know's with the help of the Lord, he can push his way through, no matter what it is or how long it might take. I admit I have been leaning on his amazing strength and spirit so much lately. He is my rock I can't get enough of. I thrive on his sweet words and love. When we are apart, he calls or sends me little "love texts" throughout the day. Let me tell you, he has strengthened me, even saved me countless times. I feel like we are never far apart. Words and feelings of love are so powerful. He helps me be happy, and he lifts me up, boost my lacking confidence, helps me to feel my worth as a woman, as a mother, and as a wife. His appreciation and thankfulness for me gives me the energy to try me best. He believes in me. He stands up for me. I'm grateful that between us, no conversation, no topic is off limits, the easy and the hard, where I know I can come to him and he will listen every time. I love nights when after long, sometimes hard days, we finally get to be together, have needed time being close and talking our way to sleep. Brings peace and comfort.
Lyrics i swear he must live by:
"Be a best friend, tell the truth
And overuse "I love you"
Go to work, do your best
Don't outsmart your common sense
Always treat your woman like a lady
Never get to old to call her baby
Never let your prayin' knees get lazy
And love like crazy"
[song by: Lee Price]
He has an amazing ability to focus on the most important things in this life. Always looking to better himself and doing his very best to qualify for needed blessings for us, his family. Always, and I do mean always, thinking of others. Anyone that knows him knows that he would do anything for anyone in need. He always steps out of his comfort zone; in fact, I don't think he even has such a thing. Always willing to serve. Always thinking, always praying for them, and doing what Lord would have him do.
He will drop everything and just play, crawl around on the floor, and just be crazy with the girls. He will even skip out on some good things, such as a ball game, [or sometimes even school] to be with us. He never, ever complains... He certainly has his head on straight.
"We have to forgo some good things in order to choose others that are better or best because they develop faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and strengthen our families." [Elder Dallin H. Oaks.]
Almost everyday Chris and Brylie play "mean dogs." [made up by her.] They get down on all fours and growl, wrestle, rough house, and snuggle, just have the time of their lives. It really makes Brylie's day. She can't get enough of him. And it's watching little things like this that he does that make me fall in love with him over and over again.

I think I found a keeper ♥
