[called to serve]

When Elder and Sister Harward (Dixie and Russell - Chris' parents) were called to serve in the France Paris Mission, they could hardly contain their excitement! Everyone cheered and clapped, it was quite the moment. Russell had served there as a young missionary and now they get to serve there together as a couple! Awe. Perfectly romantic right?!

As if raising 13 children of their own wasn't enough, they have been assigned to the Young Adult Center in Paris, which means they've added quited a few more to watch over and help develop in the gospel. Apparently the Lord knows that they love to work with the young adults and have a gift with them and has prepared them for this mission, because they have served with them for three years in their stake and for the past three years at the M.T.C.
These wonderful parents have sacrificed so much for their family and for the gospel and I've learned so much from their examples. They are so loving and kind to us and our children, and they will be missed. It's comforting to know that not only will the people of France be blessed by their wonderful spirits, but our family will also be blessed and watched over as they are away.

Brylie gets to give a talk in Primary this coming Sunday on "I can choose to be a missionary now." She wants to talk about her special grandparents and their example they are setting for her :)

They left for France just yesterday and we are so excited for them!!!

We love them and pray for them. They are such great examples to us and we know they are going to be amazing missionaries together!! :)
