We went to a Christmas Creche last Friday. I had never heard of such a thing, and it was quite the sight! There must have been hundreds of nativity scenes packed into our little church (I can't remember the number). There was even a live nativity scene where the kids could dress up and pretend. All the girls in this group (including Brylie) wanted to be angels. Brylie really, REALLY wanted to hold baby Jesus. I just knew because she would not take her eyes off him. As you can see in the photo above, the boy on the left (Joseph i suppose), was hogging him the entire time. She waited patiently for a turn, but it never came. He stood like a stone in that corner and he was not budging. Soon this groups turn was over. She didn't complain at all about not getting to hold baby Jesus like i thought she might. She must have been just adoring Him... I was proud of her. I got to see my ANGEL with the true meaning of Christmas in her eyes that night.
